Boost Infinite’s New $60/month Plan Will Get You A New iPhone Every Year

In June, BestMVNO reported that Boost Infinite launched a new $50/month plan that promised special deals on new phones. The first announced offer coinciding with the plan's launch was a free iPhone 14 with device trade-in and a 36-month device financing agreement. Customers could upgrade to an iPhone 14 Plus for $2.78/month, an iPhone 14 Pro for $4.72/month, or an iPhone 14 Pro Max for $7.50/month. With Apple's announcement of the iPhone 15 yesterday, Boost Infinite released a new $60/month plan that promises its subscribers a new iPhone every year.

The new plan offering is called the Infinite Access for iPhone plan. Unlike the offering announced in June, this plan will NOT require a device trade-in for customers to be able to get a free iPhone, which in this case is the iPhone 15.

The Infinite Access for iPhone plan with the free iPhone 15 offer will be available to both new and existing customers with no special line requirements starting on September 15, 2023. Customers can sign up for it through the Boost Infinite website or app, and also through Amazon.com.

Infinite Access For iPhone Plan Offer Fine Print

This offer is not without fine print and restrictions. Here's what you need to know about them.

The plan being offered isn't really different than Boost Infinite's other plans which start at $25/month. It includes unlimited talk, text, and data but only the first 30GB of data is available at up to 5G data speeds before throttling to 512Kbps. However, over the base $25 plan it does include unlimited talk and text to over 200 countries as well as Mexico and Canada roaming with 5GB of monthly high-speed data to use in either country. The two add-ons have standalone pricing of $10/month each.

The plan does require you to pass a credit check and a three-year device financing agreement. The $60/month plan price includes cellular service and any iPhone 15 family model with a retail price of up to $1,000. It does not include taxes, fees, or surcharges. Customers who desire an iPhone model priced over $1,000 will have to pay an additional monthly fee.

Finally, if you want to upgrade your device to an iPhone 16 for free in the following year, you will have to trade in your old iPhone. The phone must be returned in good and working order. Customers wishing to upgrade to a different storage capacity or higher-end model will have to pay more than $60/month for the plan.

Boost Infinite Access for iPhone Plan Details

Boost Infinite did put out a press release announcing this new plan. Interestingly, it wasn't the only thing newly announced. Boost Infinite is now marketing its network as "America's Smart Network" and it has trademarked that phrase.

The press release states that America's Smart Network "seamlessly connects to the Boost Wireless Network in select markets and one of our partner networks." The Boost Wireless Network is the network being built out by DISH. Boost's partner networks include both T-Mobile and AT&T.

Having a yearly iPhone upgrade plan isn't something new for a wireless carrier. Verizon, for instance, first offered such a plan in September 2015. And T-Mobile's newly launched $105/month Go5G Next plan includes yearly phone upgrades. AT&T has also offered yearly upgrades with its Next Up program.
